Hello. I am Andreas Streicher, graphic artist and graphic designer. I live and work in Szentendre, Hungary. I pursued my studies at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. My fine art is inspired by everyday life and the culture of the Carpathian Basin. The paintings, graphics and drawings showcased on the current webpage are a selection of my entire collection.
My works of art are usually gathered around one concept. A concept of special meaning for me is The Tribe. The strong influence of the Hungarian and Carpathian folk culture is reflected in my paintings and drawings. These folk motifs appear in the details of my artworks.
Cultural identity is of high importance to me, meaning the cultural environment where I come from and which made me who I am today.
